Hi, how does the filling station know when to stop dispensing the water to prevent it from overflowing? Is there some sort of camera or IR sensor inside the tap that detects when the water level approaches the brim of the bottle?

can it be used outdoors

We do have wall mounted, refrigerated bottle filling station and cooler models rated for outdoor use, but none that are filtered. Installation location indicates Indoor. With the stainless steel finish, can this be mounted in a breezeway, just outside restrooms? The door to the breezeway is open most of the day but then shut when the school is closed for the day & summer.
