Poor quality. Poor instructions. Poor design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this drain flange because it matches my sink. However, it isn’t made to function on its own. It literally sits on top of your existing flange to act like a color-coordinated cap. Makes no earthly sense. This means it sits proud of the sink surface by about 1/32” - great spot that accumulates grime and gook. Yuck. We tried to like it. We installed it and used it for about a month. It was so irritating that we ripped it out. You literally can’t scrape food down the drain because it gets stuck on the lip that’s created by the “non-flush” design. I didn’t want a stainless steel flange but that’s what I ended up with. I hope Elkay redesigns this so that there’s a good composite, color-matched option for their beautiful sinks.

Disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed in this flange for the garbage disposal. The rigid construction is so different from my old sink disposal unit which was a soft flange where debris automatically fell into the disposal. Perhaps the manufacturer felt that this wasn’t a positive function but I liked it. This unit, however, is very attractive, matches the sink color and the drain on the other side of the sink.

Perfect match!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an exact match to the Elkay sink I purchased and it looks so much better than the old standard silver ringed flange. I could easily have used the old part with my new sink but know the extra money spent on this was more than worth it. Many people have remarked how well they like the fact the colors matched. I am 100% happy with the product.

Nice, but may not fit existing flange
The item itself is great and matches the sink, however this flange which is made for the disposal side is supposed to slip into the existing stainless steel flange of the disposal. The diameter of the flange with its gasket was too large to slip into my disposal flange (waste king). I was able to modify it with no problems, but that may not be possible for some buyers.

frustrated
we installed our sink and flange 4 months ago. within 2 months it started sticking to the basket drain stopper. When we pull out the basket the Ring/Flange comes along with it and it is difficult to pull them apart -- EVERY SINGLE TIME!--its highly frustrating as i wanted it matching the sink and now just dont even put water in that side of sink because of this!

Hard to use
This is so hard to pull out, and the style makes it so that I am pulling it out all the time to let larger debris through that is perfectly fine in the garbage disposal. I am looking to find something else more functional here. I also find it hard to clean and the color is already a bit off.

Beautiful Finish Detail

Flange doesn't fit over disposal
The grey Flange dosen't fit in the disposal portion of the sink. Created a rim that food cant get around and makes the sink function poorly. Had to just keep it out and now we have the metal rim from the disposal showing in out nice grey sink. Dont Buy.
