Looking at the previous questions, there is mention of needing to winterize the unit. Just to clarify, if the unit is freeze resistant does it still need winterized?

Hello Smitty - No, it does not. The freeze valve retracts the water so there is none left over in the tubes to be frozen. Do you have a resistant rating (e.g. IK rating) for this unit (LK4400BFFRK)?
