How to remove the tip end of the faucet to clean out trash collected in the filter?

Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your question on the Elkay LK406HA10L2 Centerset with Exposed Deck Faucet. This model faucet includes a "key" in the box for the vandal-resistant aerator. It is a flat piece of metal with two tabs with a slot in them on one side. The aerator will have two slots that the tabs on the key will fit into. Once the key is in place, turn it to loosen the aerator until you can remove it by hand. Then repeat the process in reverse to replace the aerator on the spout.
