Having an issue with continuous flow after the bottle is removed from IR sensor. Shutting down the power stops flow. The unit is only 4 months old. What are my options?

Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your question on the LBWD00. It does not look like a solenoid issue since the flow stops when you turn the power off. It could be a dirty IR sensor, so please try cleaning the sensor. If that does not solve the issue, it may be a defect IR sensor. Please contact our Tech Services and they will be happy to help further. They can be reached at: 800-260-6640 and select Option 3. Please call while you are at the unit in question as our Tech Services representative may have questions in order to help you properly.

We have an RO system in our house, will this dispenser work with it?

Asked by: Linda262
Thank you for your question on the LBWD00. The LBWD00 will only work if the RO water was to be remineralized prior to it going to the unit. Otherwise, the RO water will degrade the copper tubing in the unit and could possibly cause leaks.

What is the largest sized bottle that can fit?

Asked by: QUESTION
Thank you for your question on the LBWD00. The largest bottle that would fit inside the alcove and under the nozzle would be about 11" tall and 3-1/2" in diameter.

Can I operate it without a filter. The tap water is very clean here. We only want it for the bottle filling convenience.

Asked by: Tony F
Thank you for your question on the LBWD00. Yes, the LBWD00 will continue to dispense water without a filter. However, the filter life status light will continuously blink red to indicate that no filter is installed.

How many gallons will your $64 filter handle? Grocery store filtered water at 39 cents / gallon can go a long way when we’re buying a $1100 unit and paying to have it installed!

Asked by: rico567
750 gallons, as it says in the description. That's 750-gallon plastic jugs that aren't going in the trash. If you're only looking to save money, this is not a product that would suit you. As I'm sure the aesthetics would be lost anyway.
