How does this sink fit in a typical 24" deep base cabinet? The front-to-back measurement of 20.625" seems like it wouldn't leave enough room for a typical 1.375" faucet hole and enabling the faucet handle to go back without hitting the wall.
Thank you for your question on the Ferguson Exclusive Elkay ELXUDB3620BG Quartz Luxe Single Bowl Undermount Sink w/Drainboard+Perfect Drain. The sink will be a tight fit but it will have enough room for a typical 1.5” faucet hole. Currently, faucet handles are designed to not swing towards the wall/backsplash. We cannot guarantee this is the standard for all faucets, but it stands true for the Elkay selection. Our selection of single handle operated faucets restricts the handle to move only forward (towards users) for hot and cold selection (this motion is limited to 90 degrees). For on/off operation the faucet handle moves on its “X” axis (left and right). There should be no additional rear space needed for faucet operation, nor should the shallow mounting space itself provide restrictions for proper faucet operation).

Another question- My base cabinet will be 46" wide, not 36", so the sink will not sit on the left and right side rails of the base cabinet as referenced in another customer's question/response. In this case how should the sink be supported?
Thank you for your question on the Ferguson Exclusive Elkay ELXUDB3620BG Quartz Luxe Single Bowl Undermount Sink w/Drainboard+Perfect Drain. For cabinets larger than 36” the sink will need to be installed as a typical undermount. That means that the sink will need undermount clip supports to support the left and right flanges as they will not sit on the cabinet frame. This should be mounted per a professional countertop installer.

I am planning to order this sink to install in our new kitchen. The specifications show this sink will fit into a 36" sink cabinet but I am not sure how that works - sink is 35 7/8" wide, inside dimension of 36" cabinet is 34 1/2". Can someone clarify?
Thank you for your question on the Ferguson Exclusive Elkay ELXUDB3620BG Quartz Luxe Single Bowl Undermount Sink w/Drainboard+Perfect Drain. The sink is oversized to maximize the bowl size. The sink installs by sitting on the left and right-side rails of the sink base cabinet (36”). This also allows for additional support, versus full suspension from the counter-top, by allowing the weight of the sink to rest on the cabinet itself.

Hello, does this sink come with a left side drain board?
Thank you for your question on the Ferguson Exclusive Elkay ELXUDB3620BG Quartz Luxe Single Bowl Undermount Sink with Drainboard and Perfect Drain. Unfortunately, we do not have a version of this model with a drainboard on the left in our current product offering.

if using an insinkerator disposal, can you use the Elkay 3-1/2" Basket Strainers Model: LKQS35CH?
Thank you for your question on the Ferguson Exclusive Elkay ELXUDB3620BG Quartz Luxe Single Bowl Undermount Sink with Drainboard and Perfect Drain. No, the LKQS35CH drain will not work with this Perfect Drain Quartz Luxe model while using a garbage disposal. You would need to use the drain components that come with the InSinkerator disposal and then use the Elkay LKPDQD1CH Quartz Perfect Drain 3-1/2" Polymer Disposer Flange with Removable Basket Strainer and Rubber Stopper. This is a flange and stainer that is color-matched to the sink to install into the InSinkerator flange.

Is there a certain Insinkerator flange specific to this sink model? It says it’s compatible with the “Quick Lock”, but that flange is too wide and not deep enough to connect it.
Thank you for your question on the ELXUDB3620BG. You would need to use the stainless collar that is included with the LKPDQ1CR strainer that comes with the sink. The Insinkerator collar is not used because it is too large to fit down in the perfect drain.
