Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tough to clean the lighter color sink I have had this sink (bisque) for about 5 months and am noticing that it is getting somewhat discolored in the bottom. It appears that the sink is not perfectly non-porous, the surface is somewhat pebbled even though barely discernible and seems to collect microscopic debris (despite my wiping it down with a clean and sometimes soapy sponge). I am now soaking baking soda and white vinegar (50% water) and scrubbing it with a nail brush - it is helping some. I have not wiped it dry in the past, perhaps that has contributed to the problem. In any case, be forewarned that this can be an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This sink always looks clean I don't like to write reviews when something is new, because everything looks great when it is new. But after having this sink for six months it looks just as good today as day one. I have the bottom rack to protect. I never wipe the sink down after use and it doesn't show any water spots. I have greystone. There are no marks on it. I love how deep it is. I have always had stainless steel sinks before. This is both quieter and looks better after use. As an added plus, Elkay support folks were knowledgeable and pleasant when I called in to ask some questions before purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from plaster and paint have stained it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am frustrated with my sink and contractors because they cleaned their drywall mudd coated tools in it as well as their WHITE paint brushes. My sink is the dusk gray (which was beautiful before they ruined it). The website says it washes up with soap and water, but the stains will not come out. I need help from the manufacturer to tell me how to get those stains out of it. If they don't come out, this sink gets a zero

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, durable, easy to clean sink I really wanted a large, single bowl sink with drain on one side so we could spray toward one side for easier cleaning. I found this one and love the quartz! It's so much nicer than the composite plastic sink we had at our last house, easier to clean than stainless steel which always looks dirty, and more durable than porcelain or coated steel. We got it in White and it is not 100% white, more like the color of our off-white Calacatta marble-look quartz countertops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Sink I am very happy with the Elkay Quarts Classic undourmount sink. It was actually very simple to install, and now my kitchen looks so much more modern and updated with this sink. It is good material, that I am sure will last for years and years. It rinses out easily, and is plenty big to soak my dishes, etc.........It doesn't scratch easily which is very nice, knowing it will look great for years to come. I would indeed recommend this awesome sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful sink The Elkay Quartz Single Bowl Undermount sink is the perfect addtion to my kitchen renovation. It matches the custom cabinets and countertops just right. The textured sink keeps dishes from sliding around when you place them in the sink, keeping them from breaking. The sink is nice and deep with enough space for plenty of dishes. Installation was a breeze thanks to the template. It is the exact size needed for my space, not too big, and not too small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from By Far the Best Undermount Sink in the Market Received my new Elkay Quartz about 4 weeks ago and was very impressed as soon as I oppned the box. The fit and finish is very elegant and the "quartz" realy pops!. The installation was straight forward, but remember, this is an undermount so more attention is needed then those that simply drop in place. The single bowl diminsions are spot on and worked very well for my application. I am very pleased with the results.

Questions

I have a crack in the bottom of the bowl of my sink. I did not drop anything in it or do anything that would cause it to crack. I would rather repair than replace Do you have a repair kit or epoxy match for this sink?

Asked by: CarolineMcG
Thank you for your question on the Elkay ELGRU13322 Quartz Classic Single Bowl Undermount Sink. Unfortunately, due to the manufacturing process, Elkay does not offer a repair kit as it is very difficult to fill in scratches and cracks since it requires putting material back into the sink that both matches the color and texture of the Quartz sinks. Although we offer no specific solution to fill in deep scratches, you can try an epoxy solution, however, we will stress that the color and texture would have to exactly match the sink to make it look unnoticeable. Due to the difficulty of repairing the sink, Elkay does not recommend this and it would be the user’s responsibility to try repairs that make sense in their unique situation. Please keep in mind, any off the shelf kits could potentially make the scratch look worse and void the warranty. If you would like further assistance or have questions on your warranty, please contact our friendly Customer Care team. They can be reached at: 800-476-4106 or Email: CustCare@Elkay.com.

We just got this sink in white. I'm about to install it, and wanted to know if it's okay to use standard plumbers putty for the flange or will it stain the sink?

Asked by: RichP

I would like to get the sink and have it installed in a quartz countertop by professional installer. I read that your template is for a 1/8 inch positive reveal but would like a zero reveal. Is this reasonable to ask a professional installer?

Asked by: Marcia
Thank you for your question on the Elkay ELGU2522Quartz Classic Single Bowl Undermount Sink. While this sink can be flush mounted, it is not recommended as it requires a very precise cutout in the countertop and we do not provide cutout templates to flush mount our sinks. If you would like to flush mount the sink, we recommend that you provide the sink and have the sink cutout and mounting holes cut by the countertop fabricator prior to installation.

Is the drain offset in this sink? Description claims offset but the picture shows it in the center of the sink.

Asked by: Bethell
Thank you for your question on the Elkay ELGRU13322WH0 Quartz Classic Single Bowl Undermount Sink. The drain is centered on the sink left to right, but it is offset to the rear of the sink to provide more usable space on the bottom of the sink and in the cabinet below.

Just got my new sink installed but installer placed it with the drain toward the front of the sink instead of the back. It seems backwards. What is the correct place for the drain?

Asked by: rzlvr
Thank you for your question on the Elkay ELGU2522 Quartz Classic Single Bowl Undermount Sink. Unfortunately, being installed with the drain at the front of the sink is not the correct placement for the drain. The sink should have been installed with the drain at the back of the sink.
