Rated 5 out of 5 by rpavlas from Great undermount sink by Elkay! We have been wanting a new kitchen sink for a while so I did my research on which style/brand I liked. I love the Elkay 16 gauge sink that has one large sink bowl. It also came with the bottom grid which I love and is so helpful! The large sink makes it so easy to wash dishes, especially the large pots and pans! Installation was easy and went smoothly. The shiny, silver look of the sink makes it look very sharp and sleek - I promise you will love it too! I highly recommend this sink from Elkay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsTheSev from Beautiful and functional! I love the way this sink looks—it’s classy and looks high-quality. It’s deep enough to wash large pots, but not so deep that you can’t reach into the bottom. Having one large sink is so much better than two separate sections—it also makes it easy to wash our little dog in it! I’m planning to get a grid to put on the bottom to make sure it doesn't scratch, but it’s likely not needed, I’m just over cautious! Overall this looks beautiful in our kitchen with our stainless steel appliances.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MPM607 from Perfect sink upgrade for my kitchen I got this sink to replace my old one and gain a little more sink space. It can be tough to replace a sink and find one that actually fits the existing hole cut in your counter, but this one did the trick. The under-counter mount looks much cleaner and I like the straight angles inside the bowl, which makes the sink feel much bigger than it is. I do wish it had the holes for the fixture in it, but honestly I could have just selected another style that included that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mrsburnssassin from Fantastic!! You will love this sink!! It is sleek and beautiful, and totally transformed my kitchen! We did pay someone to install it, mostly because I wanted it done right, but it looked easy enough. I love that it’s deep, but doesn’t take up a ton of extra space. The beveled edges make it look modern, but the style fits with my vintage look as well. I have always suffered with a divided sink, but now I’ll never go back. Overall, I would highly recommend this sink!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Creeper19 from Great sink We just finished installing the sink over the weekend. Installing was a easy and straightforward. The sink is well made and aesthetically pleasing. Functionality is great; the sink isn’t too deep where it’s difficult to manage but deep enough to wash those larger pots and pans. We do not have a grid for it, and likely won’t get one as it appears the sink is also very durable. Overall great product and plus recommend to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jan07 from Great size and very sleek I love the clean and minimalistic look of this sink, it’s very sleek and modern. Very decent thickness and I love that it’s mounted beneath the countertop, that means no visible scratches on top of the sick and more clean look. The edges looks squared but still very accessible when cleaning. It is also very deep with flat bottom. I just wish this sink comes with the grid for the bottom of the sink which will really avoid scratches to it.

Other manufacturers of 30 inch sinks indicate that they can be installed in 33 inch cabinets. Is there something different about your sinks that would not allow this size to work? Your next size down (26.5) is small for a 33 inch cabinet.
Thank you for your question on the Elkay EFRU2816T Crosstown 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Undermount Sink. We recommend the cabinet be 3" larger than the sink, to take into account the cabinet wall thickness, to allow enough room inside the cabinet for ease of installation. With this model being 30-1/2" overall, it could be installed in a 33" base cabinet but it will be tight and there will be minimum working space to install the mounting hardware.

I am looking for a replacement stainless steel, single bowl, sink with a man made "granite" top opening of 28.5 x 16.0" withj single handle faucet. What do you suggest? The current sink is an Elkay.
Thank you for your question on the Elkay EFU281610T Crosstown 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Undermount Sink. This model sink would not work as its opening countertop opening is 27-3/4" x 15-3/4" with 3/16" corner radii. We would also need to know the corner radius of your current countertop opening. Please contact our Customer Care department by phone at 800-476-4106 or email at email@example.com and they will be able to help you further.

Three questions: 1. What grade of stainless is this sink? 2. What is the difference between efu281610T and efru281610T? 3. What is the time availability?
Thank you for your question on the Elkay EFRU2816T Crosstown 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Undermount Sink. This model is made of 304 stainless steel. The difference between the EFRU and EFU model is the corner radius of the sink bowls. For the EFRU models, they have a 9/16 corner radius while the EFU models have what we call a "zero radius" corner radius which is less than 1/16". Does this 30 1/2" sink really not fit in a 33" sink cabinet? I see the specs say minimum is a 36" cabinet, but most 30" sinks fit in a 33" cabinet. Does that extra 1/2" really make such a difference? Maybe it's a typo?
Thank you for your question on the Elkay Crosstown EFRU281610T. We recommend a 36" cabinet, but it can be installed in a 33" cabinet. However, it will be tight and there will be minimum working space to install the mounting hardware.
