Questions

What is the minimum size of the cut out needed in my counter? This is to replace an existing sink in a granite countertop that already has a hole cut for the sink. Also, what is the width of the lip (from the bowl to the edge) on the front of the sink?

Asked by: Ned77
Thank you for your question on the Elkay ECTSRS33229TBG Crosstown 18 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Dual Mount Sink Kit. This model is a dual mount sink, so it can be mounted either as a drop-in or undermount. For drop-in, the cutout dimensions required are 32-3/8" x 21-3/8" (822mm x 543mm) with 5/16" (7mm) corner radius. For undermount, the cutout dimensions required are 30-1/4" x 16-1/2" (768mm x 419mm) with 1/2" (12mm) corner radius. For the front flange of the sink, it is 1-1/4".

Are the faucet holes perforated on the back?

Asked by: PeggyC
Thank you for your question on the ECTSRS33229TBG. This model comes with the option to be order with pre-drill holes in either 1, 2, FR2, 3, 4, or 5 hole configurations. I have included a direct link to the spec sheet that shows the hole drilling configurations. http://www.elkayfiles.com/spec-sheets/ectsrs33229tbg_spec.pdf

Since this sink has no holes for faucets - do you drill through the Stainless Steel after it is installed? Or do you need to move the faucets back off the Stainless Steel rim. It is hard to tell how wide that rim is from the basin on the back side
