EB Técnica began operations in 1962 as a manufacturer of stainless steel sinks. While initial production was only four sinks per day, EB Técnica is now the national leader in the Mexican plumbing market for stainless steel sinks. In 1990, EB Técnica saw the need to diversify into the manufacture of composite sinks and is now the national Mexican leader in this type of sink as well.
In the early 1990's EB Técnica began opening the first of more than 20 warehouses throughout Mexico to help to ensure that EB Técnica could meet the increasing demands of our customers. In 1995, EB Técnica began looking at distribution into Central and South America and established strategically located warehouses in these regions.
In 1999, Elkay purchased EB Técnica and created Elkay Mexico thus allowing Elkay to continue our growth and service to an entirely new set of customers.
