Donna WarnerAs editor-in-chief of Metropolitan Home from 1992 until November 2009, Donna Warner created a magazine that was a revered chronicle of contemporary American style. Under her guidance, Met Home's focus shifted to modern design, and it led in reporting on the newest furnishings, architecture, garden, lifestyle and food trends, showcasing the work of the world's finest designers in a fresh, reader-friendly way.

In 2004, Donna was awarded the Circle of Excellence Award for outstanding editorial and media achievement from the New York chapter of the International Furnishing and Design Association (IFDA); in 2007 she received Project Angel Food's Humanitarian Award. The magazine also won numerous design and industry awards during her 17-year tenure.

Additionally, Donna directed a designer to produce a licensed Met Home furniture line and created the magazine's annual Design 100 event/awards at the Four Seasons—the design event of the year.
